I received some email that reminded me of two other Podcasts that deserve your attention:

+ The Practical Amateur Radio Podcast by Jerry KD0BIK, available on iTunes or http://myamateurradio.com/

+ Teen Radio Journey by Paul KC9QYB, available on iTunes or at http://www.teenradiojourney.com/
This podcast is intended for teenagers, so I am definitely outside of that target audience. I mention it here because anything that involves youth in amateur radio is a good thing.

Paul,
I gave WeatherBrains a try but found it too chatty. Maybe I am just not into weather enough.
Thanks for the idea anyway.

I've been looking for some new podcasts so thanks! I'm new to the ham world (planning on testing for technician on Apr 11). One strange thing I've noticed that "experienced ham" and "attractive website" seem to be strangers to one another... even the radio stores (not the manufacturers) have web pages right out of 1998. Blinking text, center-justified text (WTF?), red text on yellow backgrounds -- aurghhh!! :)
